Abstract

There are a number of considerations to effectively protect school communities from extreme weather influences. This final chapter provides guidance through evidence-based information to elicit positive and impactful actions that protect schoolchildren from extreme weather and thus support the critical role of schools. The chapter provides important foundational and summative knowledge to ensure that school communities and educational leaders of all levels can be better informed and prepared with the provision of strategies to support school communities from extreme weather events both now and into the future.
