note = "Eleanor Gates-Stuart and Andrew Hagan, as part of the CSU eXtended Reality Centre (XRC), are forging new technologies within VR, AR and MX-R for crossdisciplinarity research and linkages in Industry partnerships. It is through the XRC and the wider opportunities at CSU that we were involved in STEM as presenting the Creative Arts as an integral and integrated practice, applied research as well as a distinctive arts discipline. We collaborate on many cross-faculty projects, including working with local Industry partners, to advance capabilities in visualisation technologies, in applying visual design logic through science-based enquiry and leading-edge capabilities in extended reality. Our creative arts research strengthens our design thinking, in a unique spatial and multi-dimensional perspective, in using technology creatively and for adaptive solutions.
