Abstract

In this paper, we extend the tools we have developed through our extensive research for assisting Australia's councils, State Emergency Service (SES) and environmentalists to discharge their duties with greater accuracy and swiftness by locating and marking the region of interest (ROI) within a remotely sensed digital imagery. This paper proposes a novel technique to identify the roofs of buildings damaged by hailstorms through aerial survey.
