Abstract

This study asked people with intellectual disability and their carers about their experience having a virtual health care appointment with a Specialised Intellectual Disability Health Team. The preliminary findings from interviews and an online, accessible survey indicate that participants felt virtual care enabled timely access to a positive healthcare experience.
