    Abstract

    This essay is written specifically for the 200 Page hardcover book entitled 'In Focus - 5 Years of BA Photography Graduate Exhibitions'. The essay contextualises the role of contemporary art curriculum in generating well rounded graduates who's creative capacities work to enrich the cultural industries within the regions in which CSU predominantly services. The 1500 Word paper draws from QUT research in to Creative Industries and makes an argument for function-of-design ideology amongst an holistic educational set.
