Abstract
This discussion paper reports on stream three of the collaborative project Creative Thinking and Wellbeing in Teacher Education Course Accreditation: Reinvigorating Course Review for All.
Stream 3, Creative thinking, wellbeing and course directing, examined the experiences of a small group of course directors in the School of Education at a large regional NSW university. Course Directors represent a comprehensive suite of initial teacher education programs across Bachelor of Education and Masters of Teaching courses, encompassing Early Childhood, Primary and Secondary, including industry entry programs. In particular, this stream was interested in the intersections of professional identity, accreditation and regulatory requirements, innovative approaches to course design (including the embedding of creative and critical thinking and wellbeing), and the nurturing of professional wellbeing.
