Abstract
The article explores how the dissemination of digital information can result in unwise and foolish online behavious that can be self-defeating as it can cause unintended harm to the agents themselves. In the information age, information should be used wisely so wisdom as a type of meta-knowledge should guide the dissemination of all digital information.
