    Abstract

Language is the symbol of humanity while humankind is the vehicle of language. This article illustrates the state of global English and how it merges, "engulfs", "gorges" and finally replaces the languages of Aboriginal minority tribes, and thus their cultural knowledge. In doing so, it analyses why the English Language has been spreading so fast and so widely. The loss of the languages and the cultural knowledge of minorities, indigenous and immigrant communities are considered in this context.
