Abstract

Focusing on Luke 17:22-37, this study probes the meaning and significance of distinctive features of Lukan eschatology, with particular reference to expressions of eschatological vengeance. It also compares aspects of Lukan eschatology with Islamic eschatological emphases found in the Qur'an.
