Abstract
The study of the connection between Matthew and John in the context of early Judaism to illuminate the Jewish roots of early Christianity and to expose the roots of antisemitism. A comparative study of the role of the law and the nature of mission in these two documents throws light on the diversity both early Christianity and early Judaism
