This chapter focuses on two countries that occupy an important place in their respective geographical areas from which to observe the deployment of migratory flows in the Asia-Pacific: China in terms of internal movements and Australia for international migration. The chapter does not include all the movements that take place in the two countries, but is a summary of some flows that are of particular interest for the common problems they raise.
