Abstract

An examination of the distinctive method of the leading late-twentieth century theorist of violence and religion, René Girard, in which the scientific and the theological are combined via the incarnational to yield the apologetic, concluding with some suggestions about how his anthropological program might fit with come contemporary theological agendas.
