Abstract
As dual qualified professionals with expertise in both education and information management, teacher librarians (TLs) stand at the intersection of digital transformation and traditional educational infrastructure. Their role, now more critical than ever, demands not just connection but deep immersion in the educational landscape. Working together with teachers, TLs are not just participants, but key architects in crafting rich, contemporary learning experiences that resonate with the learners of the 21st century. The challenge this creates is the need for TLs to maintain and expand their own information literacy skills, so that they can develop savvy and strategic ways to remain up to date and informed in a context where information is as ubiquitous as the air we breathe.
