Abstract
Australian Quality of Life (QoL) study for those living with (children and teenagers) or managing food allergy (parents or caregivers). The study, conducted in 2015-2016, explored issues around social engagement, day-to-day activities and medical awareness as this can save lives. Results showed that while children were cognisant of how to keep to safe, they were aware of differences. For children under 8 years there was correlation between parental fussing and feeling different to friends, while for teenagers they had a worsening QoL compared to parents.
