Abstract

Fodder is defined as the wide range of crop and pasture species that are grown, harvested and lightly processed to facilitate both on-farm use and domestic and export trade. This publication covers the measurement and comparison of preference, short-term intake rate, in vivo digestibility and total intake of a series of hay types in sheep, beef cattle, dairy cows and horses.
