    Abstract

My catalogue essay critically addressed the history of regional arts practices in Australia and the endemic nature of parochialism in Australian art curatorial practices since the 1960s. This catalogue essay added to the discourse surrounding parochialism and its impact on curatorial mandates both regionally and nationally, in terms of global art strategies. Catalogue Essay for Griffith Regional Art Gallery and Western Riverina Arts, ISBN 978-0-9924046-3-5. The catalogue was widely distributed across the national and international gallery and museum sectors, and library sectors across Australia, and University sectors.
