Abstract
COVID-19 has resulted in many students engaging with novel learning experiences. This presentation will discuss from a CSU perspective a range of placement activities, including the outcomes of a student-led co-operative inquiry. The student led cooperative inquiry was funded by the University Centre for Rural Health (https://ucrh.edu.au/) and conducted in partnership with the International Network of Co-operative Inquirers (https://incinq.csu.domains/).
In this presentation, Emma Pascoe - a CSU student who participated in this inquiry will outline her experiences of her placement. She will be supported in this presentation by Dr Nicola Ivory - Research Fellow and psychology lecturer, Yangi Uchalla and Dr Monica Short - senior lecturer, who was also involved in the project. The research question explored in this co-operative inquiry seeks to understand what is rural advantage and rural disadvantage from an international social work student perspective.
