    Abstract

Outta Touch was a co-directed devised physical theatre work created to engage undergraduate students and local secondary schools in a discussion about their relationship with human contact. The 50-minute production toured to five regional schools in the Central West of NSW. 321 students viewed the performance and engaged in facilitated discussion sessions that explored the question: Have we become too distant as a society? Themes of trust, confidence, bullying, affection and judgment emerged.
