Abstract

Prostate cancer is the most common cancer diagnosed in men internationally. The PCFA Telenursing Resource Guide has been designed and developed to support Prostate Cancer Specialist Nurses to provide support to men and their families diagnosed with prostate cancer across Australia. This collaborative project involved research, co-design with consumers and families, implementation and evaluation of clinical practice guidelines and training manuals. This resources serves as a dynamic repository, regularly updated with evidence-based information to support nurses during telephone interactions with men affected by prostate cancer and their families.
