    Abstract

    This consists of a major performance piece, as part of a collaborative art project entitled 100 Notions from a Nation of Two, comprising of presentation of creative writing and performance, including magic acts, drawing and circus acts in a confrontational performance art work within an exhibition/event curated for the Wagga Wagga Art Gallery, in conjunction with the Cad Factory, performing arts organisation, in Wagga Wagga. The performances were held at the Wagga Wagga Art Gallery, on the 24th March 2012. My contribution to this project was the devised performance art in response to video and music projection artworks, enacted in a live experimental theatre context, which incorporated mime, live and video art, reflecting on the contemporary and past role of theatre of the absurd in theatre history and Australian art practices.
