Abstract

NCCMA installed two different drum screens at two private irrigation pump diversions at the Gunbower Creek, Victoria. The screens were installed to protect native fish and other aquatic organisms from being extracted by the pumps. Charles Sturt University was asked to investigate fish entrainment before and after the screens were in place. These are the first preliminary results of the study.
