| Other | We are honoured and thrilled to host our ISVEE community ‘down under’ in 2024. The veterinary epidemiology and economics community of Australia and New Zealand has a long history of contribution, and remains a global powerhouse of the discipline. From the first ISVEE held in Australia in 1979, this emerging discipline quickly found fertile soil in the region, flowering to become a foundation of teaching and research, guiding policy formulation and decision-making, and contributing to the improvement of our society. The Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists is proud to host ISVEE17, supported by strong government, industry, and academic contributions. At ISVEE17 we will challenge you with ideas, opinions and debate. Sydney is a world city that offers beautiful cityscapes framed by a world-famous harbour. Our conference will take place at the spectacular International Conference Centre, in vibrant Darling Harbour. To complement our special environment, ISVEE17 will be a sustainable conference. We are ready to say g’day and welcome you to Sydney in November 2024 to enjoy great science, a spectacular social program, and an unforgettable experience of a lifetime.
