Abstract

In this paper, we propose a multidimensional privacy-preserving data aggregation scheme for wireless sensor networks (WSNs) with strong security and high efficiency. The proposed scheme is secure against existing passive and active privacy compromising attacks including the coalition attack from malicious base station and captured sensor nodes, and it is also robust to data loss. It achieves constant communicationoverhead with respect to the cluster size, which makes it useful in large scale WSNs. Compared with previous privacypreserving data aggregation scheme, the proposed scheme not only improve the privacy preservation in data aggregation, but also is more efficient in terms of communication complexity and energy costs due to its constant size communication overhead. To the best of our knowledge, our scheme is the first one that efficiently addresses the privacy and efficiency issues all at once.
