    Abstract

Harvest Moon Murders is a rural who-dunnit radio serial, produced by Jen Thompson under the ABC Regional Production Fund. Grant Luhrs of Flying Fox Studios engineered the sound and technical production and Jen Thompson wrote the original scripts, designed the creative elements and directed the voice actors. This is a comic who-dun-it radio serial, broken into five x five-minute episodes. The competition turns savage at the local Harvest Festival with the entry of a genetically engineered pumpkin. The apparent shooting of local farmer, Harry Compton - in the pumpkin patch - deeply troubles the local seed salesman, Sam Bean; the unrequited lover, Miss Charity Bannister; the Country GP, Doctor Schnapps; and the disaffected wife, Hazel Compton. Motives of love, greed and revenge stew into the brew as Sergeant Spies unearths the killer among them. This series was broadcast on ABC Riverina.
