    Abstract

12 January 2008 in Tenji Hall, Taihaku Bunka Center, Sendai, Japan. A two-hour public performance of David Gilbey's poetry and a baroque music trio (two recorders and a harpsichord - see uploaded program). My performance included not only a selection of my poetry from the previous 20 years, but five new works, written specifically for the performance. Part of the creative performance was in the varying intersections between music and poetry as well as making the poetry accessible to a non-English (Japanese) audience.
