Abstract

This paper provides an overview of the WCO recognition process, highlights some of the issues and challenges that may arise during theprocess from both an applicant's and an assessor's perspectives, offers clarification on certain aspects of the process and makes suggestions for improvement of the recognition process with a view of making it more user-friendly.
