Religion in the public press: August-September 2007, Sydney

Research output: Contribution to journalArticlepeer-review

Abstract

In this article, Dean Drayton presents some reflections on his experience of reading his local newspapers, and in particular of searching for meaning in clusters of religious words and ideas, and the the least the word 'religion' itself. After outlining his approach, he explores ways in which specific stories about religion appear against a 'broader background' use of religious langauge.
