N2 - This project evaluated the potential contributions to learning and teaching at CSU afforded by radio station 2MCE-Â'FM.The station broadcasts to Bathurst (92.3mHz) and Orange (94.7mHz), and is also available to a CSU-Â'wide audience via an online service. In particular, the project considered the benefits of developing audio learning materials based on the notion of the 'explaining voice' ' a style of vocal presentation closely aligned to radio broadcasting traditions.
