Abstract
The work grew out of a proposal for a sound installation using any number of computers and any number of speakers to the Centraal Museum in Utrecht, The Netherlands. On each computer would be installed a bank of found sounds and field recordings from journeys between Australia and the Netherlands, and my custom built software randomizer which plays looped sounds at random for a random amount of time at a random volume. The broadcast/published work was a 3 1/2 minute imagination of what this work would sound like.
