Abstract
An essay is presented on the historical and present state of revolution in societies across the world. Topics discussed include American historian René Girard's views on the revolution in modern times, Argentine Marxist author Che Guevara as a new face of revolution, and the law of development of human history theory given by German philosopher Karl Marx.
