Abstract

The works are 2 artists' books created as part of CSU-PhD candidature which challenge long-held assumptions of the range of textile arts practice identifying new forms and processes of drawing to embroidery and further informed by an investigation of the role of visual narrative as creative practice in speculative history in challenging established versions of early colonial histories of Van Diemen's Land.
