Most of this issue is a special issue devoted to articles about the experience of disaster and crisis management, sparked by the recent experiences in Australia of bushfires, and the worldwide Covid-19 pandemic. This has been guest edited by Liz Walkley Hall from Flinders University in South Australia and Jane Garner and Simon Wakeling from Charles Sturt University.
