SHAKESPEARE IN SHORTS is directed and written by John Saunders for the University Theatre Ensemble at the Studio Theatre, Charles Sturt University, from 3rd June to 12th June, 2010.SHAKESPEARE IN SHORTS is potted, pithy and packs a punch. We all know you can run faster in shorts, so watch us leap out of our tired old doublet and hose, and cut to the chase on some of Shakespeare's greatest plays. Leap on board for a fast time-travel space jump as we fly round-the-world on a lightening visit to Hamlet in Denmark, Henry V in England and France, Romeo and Juliet in Italy, and Macbeth in Scotland. Then it's all the way back to Ancient Greece for some fun and good times in Twelfth Night and A Midsummer Night's Dream. So come on, 'Beam me up Scotty!'
