Abstract

This body of jewellery works investigated the relationship between Architecture and Contemporary Jewellery. In particular, the common themes of spatial concerns as well as the location/ dislocation of the object in relation to its context were examined. The work was showcased in Siting the Circle, a collaborative exhibition between two contemporary jewellers who share a mutual interest in architecture, engineering and the built environment. The exhibition took place at Metalab, Sydney's leading contemporary jewellery gallery.
