This is a 32 page picture book for readers aged 4+, one of three commissioned by Australia's largest children's publisher, Scholastic, based on the iconic characters of the writer and illustrator May Gibbs. Snugglepot and Cuddlepie have planned a sleepover, and their friends Ragged Blossom, Obelia and Mrs Koala's children are coming. But someone has forgotten to invite Mrs Kookaburra. Quite deliberately, because her six squawking babies will wreck the sleepover and never get to sleep. But Cuddlepie gets trapped into inviting them along, and of course they do exactly what everyone expects. Ragged Blossom thinks that maybe a story will shut the Kookaburra babies up, but when she goes to find Snugglepot and Cuddlepie for storytime, they've disappeared. She finds them curled up on the bed, exhausted and fast asleep. A least someone has ended up with a genuine sleepover!
