Solving the problem of professional learning in a developing country

Abstract

This paper gives the key incentives for the involvement of teachers and teacher educators in inservice professional learning in a developing country. It indicates the importance of ownership of the program for enthusiastic delivery. The status of the teacher educators and the use of computers were key incentives.
