Abstract

Using a practice architectures framework we explore the arrangements that can support or hinder teacher leadership in VET. The paper uses data from two research projects and explores two quite different sets of practice arrangements as well as two different stages of teaching: mid-career and novice. One research site is a school of Community Development in a large public adult VET organisation. The other is a newly established Vocational College which caters for students in the final two years of high school.
