Abstract
The Veterinary Science course at Charles Sturt University was approved as the fifth Australian veterinary school late in 2003 and launched in February 2004. A vision statement for Veterinary Science was subsequently developed:Charles Sturt University will provide competent veterinary graduates with a strong commitment to animal health, welfare and research and to the development and protection of animal industries.
