Abstract

This paper was presented at the National Conference on Physics for Technology Development in Dhaka, Bangladesh, in December 2012. This research investigates the morphology and optical properties of tin oxide (SnO₂) thin films prepared using the spin-coating technique. The study employs various characterisation techniques to analyze the films, including scanning electron microscopy (SEM) for surface morphology and UV-Vis spectroscopy for optical properties. The findings indicate that the spin-coated SnO₂ thin films exhibit uniform surface morphology and optical characteristics suitable for potential applications in optoelectronic devices.
