Abstract
This submission by CSU academic A/Prof Patrick F Walsh was made to the review of the Australian Intelligence Community commissioned by Prime Minister Turnbull in November 2016 and led by Michael L' Estrange AO and Stephen Merchant PSM. The submission made five key recommendations and explored a number of reform dimensions of the Australian Intelligence Community including but not limited to: structure, coordination, oversight, governance and workforce planning. The final unclassified report by the reviewers (L'Estrange and Merchant) used and cited Prof Walsh's submission.
