Abstract

The final report of the Police and Community Safety Review (the Review) was released on 10 September, 2013. Its focus is ensuring a better and more sustainable approach to delivering public safety outcomes, which will benefit all Queenslanders. The report acknowledges that staff and volunteers are making an enormous effort to the community through their work, in often challenging circumstances. The recommended improvements to the systems and structures of the Police and Community Safety portfolio will allow staff to focus on delivering critical work.--Department of the Premier and Cabinet website.
