Abstract

An integrative review using Whittmore and Knafl (2005) framework will be conducted. The tele triage nurses’ engagement with professional development and how it informs the nurse client relationship will be described. In addition, the facilitators and barriers of professional development on nurses’ engagement with their clients/ next of kin will be identified. The impact of professional development on nurses’ engagement with their clients/ next of kin will be described.
