The CSU integrated model of social work

Research output: Book chapter/Published conference paperChapter (peer-reviewed)peer-review

Abstract

This chapter discusses the integrated model of social work developed at CSU. The early conceptual development of social work pedagogy at CSU is partly attributed to the novel requirements for this first distance education social work program to produce written subject materials for non-traditional learners who were 'at a distance' from the university. Principles underlying the model are explored, the 'model' itself is explained, and some of the ways this approach may have influenced CSU scholars and graduates is discussed.
