Research output: Book/ReportBook

Abstract

This book examines the eucharistic theology found in the various editions of the Book of Common Prayer. The Eucharist in various editions is examined in relation to realist and nominalist philosophical assumptions. The editions of the Book of Common Prayer include: 1549, 1552, 1559, 1604, The Scottish Book of Common Prayer of 1637 and the 1662 Book of Common Prayer. Some reflection is also offered on the place of the 1662 Book of Common Prayer in the present wider Anglican Communion.
