Research output: Book chapter/Published conference paperChapter (peer-reviewed)peer-review

    Abstract

Clement of Alexandria referred to a Spiritual Gospel while Augustine called it a Theological Gospel as distinct from the first three. Recently there has been an attempt to establish that all four provide an historical record. The chapter seeks to establish the distinction between the Fourth Gospel and the Synoptic three.
