Abstract
This is a story of a place, a more-than-human world and some human beings who lived in that place. This is a novel mainly set in the 1960s in a small Australian country town. It is narrated by a pink and grey galah and explores themes of place, colonisation, the agency of the more-than-human world, gender and the role of stories in human lives.
