Abstract
The Mercy Seat by US awarding winning playwright Neil Labute was performed at Sidetrack Theatre, Marrickville from the 20th of August until the 3rd of September 2011. It was produced by DoLittle Productions and directed by Andrew Doyle. The Mercy Seat is a 2002 play and was among the first major theatrical responses to the September 11, 2001 attacks. Set on September the 12, it explores the tragic events, the repercussions on life and family and a compelling moral dilemma.
