Abstract
Bangladesh is a developing country in South Asia with a high density of population. The country is currently hosting more than one million Rohingya refugees from neighbouring Myanmar. The outbreak of COVID19 pandemic has seriously affected the country. Obviously, it also has devastating impacts on the Rohingya refugees. By adopting a case study approach under qualitative research design, this study aims to explore and analyze the risks that make the Rohingya refugees vulnerable to COVID19, the ways the pandemic increases their socioeconomic vulnerabilities, the preventive and protective steps and preparedness taken to protect the refugees, and the challenges the humanitarian workers face.
