Abstract
The history of the proposed Anglican Covenant will be generally well known to readers; it is well documented, though of course with different interpretations. My own views in general can be found in Conflict and the Practice of Christian Faith: The Anglican Experiment and a number of blogs. In this paper I try to crystallise my thoughts in a way that will, I hope, assist members of the General Synod.
