Abstract
The Bachelor Medical Science (Pathology) is a professionally accredited (AIMS) degree taught at Charles Sturt University since 1998, and one of the first to be offered by distance education. In 2018 a course review began with the intent to increase content, flexibility, and workplace learning while still delivering engaging high quality content. An innovative new framework evolved that will enable students to complete the extended degree in 3 years FT (6 years PT equivalent) through the use of technology and innovative delivery.

Other | UT is replacing our planned 2020 conference in Padua with a virtual conference, to be held on the original dates of July 1-3, with bonus extended access. This virtual conference will have two themes—our original theme of “Toward Sustainable Assessment” and a second theme, “The Online Pivot,” about teaching in a virtual environment. The 45th IUT conference will feature many of our traditional offering—papers, posters, roundtables, and plenary addresses—some live and some posted for access before and after the conference. Participants will enjoy unlimited access to all conference materials online through September 30th. In addition, we will offer networking and group chat opportunities, including a robust online forum, with both synchronous and asynchronous options to participate on your schedule. Finally, building on this virtual conference, we plan to make our website a year-round resource for the university teaching community. |
